For years the desire to create both fabrics and wall coverings remained nestled in the back of my mind until 2018, when I finally struck that dream into motion. Because the lines between daily life and art are often fluid, my collection of artisanal textiles is inspired at once by my own paintings and also the smaller things, including the smallest people, in my life—our grandchildren.
I enjoy spaces that tell a story and believe you don’t have to compromise sophistication while employing livable, delight-filled fabrics and wall coverings. Our designs translate as well in a nursery as they do a gentleman’s study. The collection is a satisfying crush of color and texture—at once playful and controlled. These textiles carry an expansive range of pattern, from basketweave to abstract florals to free-form circles.
The collection accommodates any palette, from oatmeal and buff to teal and blushing pink. Our textiles and wallcoverings work as stand alone or in layered alignment, like members of a family who shine independently as well. They accent small spaces—a client’s entryway, their powder room—but complement an elongated pulse throughout an entire room or home. However utilized, Teresa Roche Textiles brighten and lend depth to whatever fun, refined spaces in which they’re utilized.
