Cassis

The Alchemy Collection is a collaborative series of original artwork produced by Liz Rundorff Smith and Teresa Roche. The patterns in this collection are made from the original artwork the artists create together by layering encaustic wax, pigmented pastel powders, geometric forms, and organic motifs. The encaustic artwork is then transformed into a distinct and sophisticated series of textile patterns.

Cassis takes its name from the quaint seaside town on the southern coast of France. Warm earthtones, delicate washes of pale blue and the ease of mineral toned sand create a composition that feels both effortless and refined. Inspired by the striped awnings that line Cassis’s cafes, the pattern couples the rhythm of a repeated stripe with the expressive quality of sun-faded color and texture.

We highly recommend all wallpaper measurements and installation be carried out by a professional. 

 Please note: the ideal temperature for wallpapering and drying is about 65 degrees Fahrenheit.  If possible, adjust room to this temperature and leave wallpaper rolls in the room for 48 hours prior to installation, allowing the wallpaper to acclimate to the room and temperature. Then maintain this temperature for a few days after installation.
