Portico

The Alchemy Collection is a collaborative series of original artwork produced by Liz Rundorff Smith and Teresa Roche. The patterns in this collection are made from the original artwork the artists create together by layering encaustic wax, pigmented pastel powders, geometric forms, and organic motifs. The encaustic artwork is then transformed into a distinct and sophisticated series of textile patterns.

Inspired by the timeless elegance of classical architecture, Portico joins the structure of columns and the symmetry of arches with the richly layered surface of weathered paint and disintegrating surfaces. Portico is at once historic and contemporary, a nod to the enduring beauty of ancient sun-washed facades and richly layered candlelit interiors.

We highly recommend all wallpaper measurements and installation be carried out by a professional. 

 Please note: the ideal temperature for wallpapering and drying is about 65 degrees Fahrenheit.  If possible, adjust room to this temperature and leave wallpaper rolls in the room for 48 hours prior to installation, allowing the wallpaper to acclimate to the room and temperature. Then maintain this temperature for a few days after installation.
