Suncast

The Alchemy Collection is a collaborative series of original artwork produced by Liz Rundorff Smith and Teresa Roche. The patterns in this collection are made from the original artwork the artists create together by layering encaustic wax, pigmented pastel powders, geometric forms, and organic motifs. The encaustic artwork is then transformed into a distinct and sophisticated series of textile patterns.

Our ode to coastal living, Suncast combines the simple sun-washed blend of ochre, citron and warm sand. The palette evokes the feeling of golden light shining through palm fronds and sun weathered trees while the radiant composition of repeating line captures the energy of the shoreline.
