The Alchemy Collection: Walking on Sunshine Seaside

The Alchemy Collection is a collaborative series of original artwork produced by Liz Rundorff Smith and Teresa Roche. The patterns in this collection are made from the original artwork the artists create together by layering encaustic wax, pigmented pastel powders, geometric forms, and organic motifs. The encaustic artwork is then transformed into a distinct and sophisticated series of textile patterns.

Both serene and moving, our Walking on Sunshine Seaside combines the weathered greens and blues of sea glass with the warm earth tones of sand and seashells. We've coupled organic geometry with complimentary color pairings to create a pattern that recalls the undeniable magic of the sea.
